This was the first Soular Sunday of 2023 and the first one that the Enterate Marivi team got to be a part of. Let us just say- what a beautiful time it was!
Soular Sunday is about bringing people together to enjoy live music and talented artists from all over. It’s a place where we can network with others, have a great time, and enjoy being around community. You never know who you might meet at a Soular Sunday event!
Why Was This Soular Sunday Special?
Soular Sunday was different this time around because it was called Mind Body and Soular. The event was held at Esquina de Abuela (the corner of grandmother), which also contributed to this event with its rich history. Aside from the amazing show that was put on by different artists, there were also workshops that took place this time: all that were based on how to elevate yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We want people to know that they are not alone in their journeys and that there are more than enough resources out there for everyone!
What Was Our Role and How Did the Event Help Participants?
Enterate Marivi hosted a goal setting workshop to help others take the first step in making their dreams a reality! This was a great way to meet new people and learn about their stories. It was also a wonderful way to introduce the community to affordable and accessible resources in regards to health care. We also had our friend Margarita from Sanitas Medical Center talk about their free therapy program! This was groundbreaking, especially for those who were unaware that free therapy existed. If there is one message we want those to remember, it’s that taking care of yourself is loving yourself!
We feel so inspired to have been a part of something bigger in order to keep pushing the community towards greatness!
